John Andrusak, age 95, passed away peacefully with his family on November 28, 2016 at his home.
John was born on September 4, 1921, in Wilton, North Dakota, to Wasyle and Mary Andrusak. He attended school in Wilton where he received his high school diploma.
He served honorably in the United States Army as a Paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. During a training exercise for D-Day John broke his leg and missed the invasion of Normandy. He was sent to a hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia, where he met his future wife, Robbie...

John Andrusak, age 95, passed away peacefully with his family on November 28, 2016 at his home.
John was born on September 4, 1921, in Wilton, North Dakota, to Wasyle and Mary Andrusak. He attended school in Wilton where he received his high school diploma.
He served honorably in the United States Army as a Paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. During a training exercise for D-Day John broke his leg and missed the invasion of Normandy. He was sent to a hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia, where he met his future wife, Robbie Neil Burden. They were married on November 19, 1946.
After John's discharge from the Army he studied Accounting and moved to California. It was here that he began his work at Kaiser Steele. He retired at the age of 55 and spent the next 40 years building VW Trikes, camping with his family and traveling.
John is survived by one son, John Andrusak II and his wife Lisa, one daughter, Susan Foley and her husband Tom, 3 Grandchildren, Erin, Linda and John III, 3 Great Grandchildren, Cory, Leah and Johnny, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren, River Lee and Willow Anne.
John was preceded in death by his beloved wife Robbie, brother's George, Fred and Steve and his sisters, Ann, Pauline and Olga.
