Jimmie Sidney Mantini died peacefully in Whittier, Ca. on March 21st, 2015 at the age of 72.

Jimmie is survived by his wife Nanci Mantini, his children; Jeannine Denger and son-in-law Brad Denger, James Mantini, Thomas Donatoni and Daughter-in-law Tisha Donatoni and Dawn Donatoni; his grandchildren Brionna Denger, Jorgen Denger, Courtney Donatoni, Emily Donatoni, Dylan Donatoni, and Maxwell Donatoni; his sister Mary Ponder and brother-in-law Victor Ponder, his brothers Eddie Mantini and Dino Mantini and sister-in-law Martha Mantini; his father-in-law Thomas Cast; his sister-in-law Kathy Aaron, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jimmie was born on August 10, 1942 in Maywood, California to Edmund and Mary Mantini. He graduated from Cathedral High School in 1961, Los Angeles Trade Technical College in 1963, and California State University Los Angeles in 1974 with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He worked for North American Aviation/Rockwell/The Boeing Company for over 34 years and retired in 1998.

Jimmie was extremely hard working and meticulous. He constantly had a project he was working on and was always willing to help others with their projects. He was passionate about many things; music (Rolling Stones), great food, football (die hard Rams Fan), gardening, his koi pond, travel (cruises), fishing, nice clothes, photography, going to the beach, playing slot machines, home improvement projects and his Mercedes. His greatest joy in life was being a loving and playful Papa to his grandchildren.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00am at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave. Riverside, Ca. 92505.
