Carlton James (Jim) Barnes was born in Augusta, Georgia on November 24, 1949. Jim is survived by his wife Kim, his mother Martha Darnell, sister Ann Anderson, brother Kenneth Barnes, son Nicholas Barnes, daughter Melissa Isaacson and four grandchildren, Morris, Penny, Joshua and Ashnaan.

Jim had a passion for Golf and Line Dancing. I am sure that he is very happy in Heaven since he will have a bird's eye view from Heaven of The Masters this month. The Masters was his most favorite tournament with the US Open coming in second. As for line dancing, when he is not watching golf or golfing with his friends in Heaven, I am sure he is teaching Line Dancing!

I am sure he would love for everyone to dress comfortable for his celebration of life. Golf attire or western/cowboy wear will be great.

Thank you everyone for all your prayers and concerns this past year. Jim loved each and every one of you. He was the type of person that if you said "Hi" to him he was your friend for life.

He had so many different groups we shared our life with, Pomona Police Department, Honeywell Security, Montana's Night Club, Corona Senior Center, MedSmart Medical Services and his Golf Buddies. Our church, Living Truth, and Olive Branch Community Church along with many private donations made our Wedding Celebration full of memories.

In lieu of flowers, we would like you to donate to The American Cancer Society, The Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Society or any Cancer Society of your choice.

There will be a reception at our house, 866 Santa Cruz Street, Corona, CA 92882, after the celebration. As you can see from the list above there will be many people who will want to tell precious memories or stories of Jim. Please plan on attending promptly so all attending will be able to hear you share your memories and stories of Jim's life.

All My Love,
Kim Barnes
